I am from Wyoming and in my area good fresh sod is hard to find and if not timley & expensive to get. So on one of my trips to Colorado I gave Korby Sod a call and with short notice they had new freshly cut sod ready for me to pick up. They even stayed after hours to get me loaded!! We were so pleased with the price and quality a friend had me pick up a second load for them! I even had a small clerical error on my invoice for payment. I re-landscaped my back yard after moving into my new house in Fort Collins and couldn't decide to re-seed or place new sod. I was glad I decided to place new sod because the quality from Korby Sod increased the quality of my back yard and brought me up from the landscaping minor league into the majors. I called Korby sod to ask if they had any cut sod available for purchase at their office. Megan the secretary said yes, we had sod but we will have to cut if for you. (I was expecting the sod to be rolled up hanging out at the office for a couple of days.) I ordered 16 rolls to do some patchwork in my lawn. I came out a couple hours later to my freshly cut sod. As most people know laying sod is tricky but having freshly cut sod makes for a better transition to your lawn! Awesome job Korby Sod! A side note- learn from my mistake- don't put Weed and Feed down... it killed 1/3 of my lawn... hence the patchwork...:( Sarah Van Diepen

Landscaping Services
For your landscaping, soil prep is very important in the success of the sod and establishing a lawn. Soil preparation can only be done once before laying your sod. Clear all weeds and debris from area. We recommend a minimum depth of quality top soil to be 2-4 inches prior to installation of sod. Level and grade entire sod area. Soil should be graded to about one inch below concrete. Water soil to allow proper settling of ground and any trenches made prior to sod installation. Lightly rake soil before turf installation to allow proper contact between sod and soil. Make sure soil preparation is complete before your sod delivery arrives.
